Lead Recruitment Consultant

Here at Skillsearch, we are a fun and vibrant team of 40 with the majority working from our HQ in Central Brighton. Our expertise is in the Gaming and Technology verticals and due to our consistent year-on-year success, Skillsearch is growing! 

We’re now looking for an experienced recruiter who can help consolidate all our efforts in North America. This hire will be a lead consultant in this space and although they will personally focus on placing Designers and Producers into games studios in North America, they will also take responsibility for helping create and action a cohesive and strategic approach to the market. 

Skillsearch is a well-established name within the games industry has been working within the market for 10 years. Previously our consultants have not been focused on specific regional areas, but thanks to the increased client base and earning potential in North America we have created a dedicated team to have a sole focus on the market. The current North American team consists of 7 consultants, split across our Brighton HQ and remote in Vancouver.  

You will: 

• Have experience in any sector of recruitment (we’ve seen a colleague transition from construction brilliantly) 
• A passion for or understanding of games and emerging technologies. 
• Have a history of driving results. 
• Be flexible with your work hours to reflect the North American market - We don’t expect you to work late every night, but having flexible start and finish times would be necessary in order to maximise your opportunities. 

Preference will be given to candidates working in North American markets or with a games recruitment background.
