Workday UK Payroll Senior Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Workday UK Payroll Senior Consultant to join a high-performing team within the professional services sector. This role offers the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in the Workday product suite, focusing on UK Payroll and working closely with clients to deliver innovative and effective solutions. As the Workday UK Payroll Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients optimise their Workday deployment post-go-live, ensuring they get the most out of their system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expertise Development: Deepen your expertise in the Workday product suite, specialising in UK Payroll, and stay informed on industry trends and HR and Financials business landscapes.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their post go-live requirements, designing, building, configuring, and testing Workday solutions with support from the Lead Functional Consultant.
• Knowledge Sharing: Serve as a point of reference within your area of expertise, sharing knowledge with colleagues and contributing to the growth of internal capability, including the training and mentoring of new team members.
• Client Engagement: Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, guiding them through their Workday journey and ensuring they maximise their system’s potential.
• Team Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with project team members, management, and external clients, contributing to the success of multiple concurrent work assignments.
• Methodology Application: Understand and apply Workday and company methodologies to deliver excellence and contribute to the financial performance of the business.

Requirements:

• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with full fluency in English.
• Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical and functional skills, with experience in projects or support environments.
• Workday Certification: Certified in Workday UK Payroll, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting Workday or other systems within the UK Payroll industry.
• HR Systems Experience: Exposure to the maintenance and enhancement of HR systems post go-live, with experience in consultancy or HR services being desirable.
• Presentation & Facilitation: Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to consult effectively for and with clients.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in confidently managing stakeholders and collaborating effectively in previous roles.
• Virtual Teams: Experience in working within or leading virtual teams, with the ability to self-manage and maintain high productivity.
