Workday Lead Payroll Consultant

As a Payroll Lead Consultant, you’ll spearhead functional workstreams, shape solutions tailored to customer needs, and mentor junior colleagues. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Workday Payroll implementation workstreams across the full project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs.
• Deliver expert guidance on Workday Payroll configurations and functionalities.
• Collaborate with teams to meet project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Support junior consultants through mentoring and coaching.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including estimates for delivery work packages.
• Stay informed of Workday product updates and industry trends.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comprehensive understanding of Workday Payroll or Financials products.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to manage relationships and expectations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to senior audiences.
• Deep commercial awareness of project and business dynamics.
• Proven ability to lead functional workstreams and deliver end-to-end implementations.
• Consulting experience, including facilitating workshops and presenting solutions.
• Capable of mentoring and supporting junior team members.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Workday HCM, Financials, or Payroll Certification.
• Professional qualifications in Payroll or a related discipline.
• Experience in post-deployment services and application management.

Additional Details:

• Remote Work: Fully remote, UK-based only.
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35.
• Travel: Occasional travel to customer sites within the UK may be required.
