Workday Integrations Consultant

What you’ll be doing

• Leading integration requirements gathering with cross-functional teams and translating functional needs into clear technical specifications.
• Designing field mappings, data flows, and process documentation to support complex Workday integration landscapes.
• Developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.
• Supporting integrations across both Workday HCM and Finance, ensuring data accuracy and secure connectivity.
• Producing and maintaining technical specifications, data diagrams, and user documentation.
• Managing integration defects, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures.
• Participating in testing cycles, validating results, and supporting deployment activities.
• Providing integration audit support and ensuring compliance with internal processes.
• Collaborating with reporting and people systems teams to create Workday reports, validations, and document generation automation.
• Staying current with Workday releases, new integration capabilities, and best practices.
• Sharing knowledge with team members and contributing to ongoing skill development across the team.
• Managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment with autonomy, ownership, and strong judgement.

What we’re looking for

• At least 3 years of hands-on Workday integrations development experience.
• Strong expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, and Workday Web Services.
• Experience integrating with common third-party providers such as ATS platforms, healthcare systems, banking partners, identity providers, or benefits carriers.
• Proven proficiency with Workday reporting tools, including Report Writer, Composite Reporting, and Advanced Reporting.
• Strong understanding of Workday data structures, data management, and integration lifecycle processes.
• Experience with SOAP, REST, WSDL, and related API standards.
• Knowledge of integration security including ISUs, PGP keys, and multifactor authentication.
• Hands-on coding experience and ability to operate as an active developer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within distributed teams.
• Ability to work remotely and manage priorities with autonomy.

Project details:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling within North America time zones
