Workday HCM Solution Architect

Are you an experienced Workday HCM Solution Architect looking to lead end-to-end functional design across multiple HCM modules?

This full-time, remote role offers the chance to architect, enhance, and support Workday HCM solutions for a diverse client base across North America. You’ll act as a trusted subject matter expert, guiding functional design, configuration, reporting, and optimisation across Workday HCM and additional modules such as Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance, Payroll, and Time Tracking.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the Workday HCM workstream as the primary functional expert.
• Providing functional support across HCM and at least three additional modules, such as Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance, Payroll, or Time Tracking.
• Troubleshooting system issues, performing testing, and working directly with stakeholders to resolve problems.
• Logging, routing, and managing support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
• Designing and building custom Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics for business users and senior leadership.
• Providing training, documentation, and guidance on Workday functionality to internal stakeholders and People teams.
• Supporting new Workday releases, feature adoption, and regression testing cycles.
• Mentoring and training junior consultants to help grow team capability.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 5 years of Workday consulting experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Workday HCM.
• Functional proficiency in three or more additional Workday modules such as Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance, Payroll, or Time Tracking.
• Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and configuration skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• A proactive mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Comfortable working remotely across US or Canadian time zones (sponsorship not available).
