Are you an experienced IS Business Operations Manager with expertise in financial planning, operational governance, and enterprise systems management?

This role offers the opportunity to lead operational and financial processes within an enterprise Information Solutions function. You will oversee day‑to‑day business operations, manage cross‑functional priorities, and drive process improvements while supporting strategic planning and governance. This position is ideal for someone who combines financial acumen with operational leadership and enjoys working across technology and business teams.

About the role

You will provide operational and administrative oversight for an Information Solutions department, ensuring smooth delivery of services, strong governance practices and alignment with organisational priorities. The role combines financial planning, operational management, stakeholder coordination and team leadership, with a focus on improving efficiency, data quality and long‑term performance.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee daily operational processes, including intake, tracking and execution of business requests
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to define priorities and translate business needs into solutions
  • Drive adoption of automation, workflows and reporting to improve efficiency and data quality
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and financial reporting activities
  • Develop financial models, scenario analysis and ROI‑based investment planning
  • Deliver executive‑level insights and reporting to support strategic decisions
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics
  • Identify operational risks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards, documentation and data management policies
  • Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives and act as a key operational liaison
  • Lead, coach and develop a team while managing workload priorities and performance

What we’re looking for

Experience

  • 7–10 years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting or corporate finance
  • Minimum 2 years of team management experience
  • Experience supporting IT, enterprise systems or operations teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)

Skills

  • Strong experience with enterprise performance management tools (e.g. Adaptive, Axiom, JD Edwards)
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as Workday or Oracle
  • Advanced Excel skills including modelling, Power Query and Power Pivot
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice to have

  • CPA, MBA or advanced financial certification
  • Experience in workforce planning or enterprise reporting
  • Background working in large‑scale, cross‑functional organisations
