Workday Extend Architect Manager

A Workday Extend Architect Manager opportunity is available for a talented professional to join our client’s team in London, UK, on a permanent basis. This role involves leading the delivery, implementation, and configuration of Workday Extend solutions for a global client base. As a technical expert, you’ll manage high-profile projects, provide thought leadership, and contribute to business development while supporting and mentoring team members.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on Workday Extend solutions, maintaining proficiency and certification.
• Manage all phases of Workday Extend implementation projects, including client consultations, design sessions, and configuration decisions.
• Recommend and deliver optimal solutions based on client requirements, budgets, and timelines.
• Guide clients through best practices and tailored configurations for their unique business needs.
• Contribute to business development by supporting the sales team, achieving sales targets, and providing competitive estimates and content.
• Manage, coach, and develop a small team of staff, focusing on performance and career development.
• Develop the capability in your area by attracting, recruiting, and mentoring senior talent.

You Have:

• Workday Extend and Integrations certification.
• Extensive experience designing and building custom software applications, preferably with Workday Extend.
• Expert knowledge of web service technologies (REST and SOAP).
• Proven ability to lead teams in delivering complex technology solutions.
• Exceptional understanding of Workday and SaaS delivery methodologies.
• Strong consulting skills to translate problem statements into IT software requirements.
• Proven ability to manage conflicting demands and perform effectively in complex situations.
• Excellent client relationship skills with the ability to build trust and manage customer expectations.

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to develop and deliver innovative products and services that differentiate in the marketplace.
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to delegate, motivate, and develop staff.
