Workday EDM Lead

This full-time role offers flexibility across the  US and Canada, including fully remote options from these locations, and is ideal for a senior consultant who enjoys leading workstreams, advising clients, and mentoring others within a collaborative, people-first environment.

About the role...

As a Lead EDM Consultant, you will play a central role in implementing and configuring an Enterprise Document Management solution for Workday. You will typically lead a functional workstream, partnering closely with customers to design and deliver solutions that align with business needs, regulatory requirements, and commercial objectives. You will also contribute to developing junior consultants through coaching and knowledge sharing.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and deliver EDM implementations for Workday customers, owning a functional workstream
• Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Analyse customer business processes and requirements, translating them into effective Workday EDM solutions
• Guide customers through the full project lifecycle, from discovery to deployment
• Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and fit for purpose
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and solution demonstrations
• Collaborate effectively with distributed and remote delivery teams
• Mentor and support junior consultants, contributing to capability growth

What we're looking for:

• Strong understanding of Workday, particularly HCM and/or a relevant specialist area
• Experience working within the Workday consulting ecosystem
• Relevant Workday certification
• Proven ability to lead a functional workstream on a Workday implementation end to end
• Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to manage expectations and build long-term relationships
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including in remote environments
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery dynamics
• Willingness to mentor, coach, and support the development of junior consultants

People Management Responsibilities (where applicable):

• Set and align individual and team goals with wider business objectives
• Provide regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-to-one support
• Identify training, development, and career progression opportunities
• Support workload planning, utilisation tracking, and resource allocation
• Contribute to recruitment and interview processes where required
