Workday - US Payroll Consultant

Are you an experienced Workday US Payroll Consultant looking for a long-term, fully remote engagement with a major enterprise client?

We’re seeking a Workday US Payroll specialist to provide staff augmentation support for a large-scale programme beginning in early 2026. If you bring deep functional payroll expertise, thrive in remote delivery environments, and enjoy partnering with enterprise teams over multi-year roadmaps, this role offers stability, flexibility, and meaningful impact.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting US Payroll configuration, testing, and payroll cycle activities throughout the project.
• Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.
• Assisting with requirements gathering, documentation, troubleshooting, and payroll validation.
• Providing expert guidance to ensure Workday Payroll is implemented and maintained to enterprise standards.
• Managing deliverables independently in a distributed team environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with Workday US Payroll.
• Background supporting payroll within large enterprise environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Based in North America is preferred for time-zone alignment.
• No Workday certifications required.

Project details:

• 32 hours per week
• Fully remote
• Staff augmentation role supporting an enterprise Workday deployment
