Workday - Benefits

Are you an experienced Workday Benefits Specialist looking for a flexible, part-time consultancy with long-term engagement potential?

We are seeking a certified Workday professional to support a phased Benefits implementation project. This role begins with low weekly hours during initial scoping and later scales to a higher commitment through the main delivery period. If you have strong expertise in Workday Benefits, implementation methodology, and governance compliance, this could be an excellent opportunity.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting a phased Workday Benefits project beginning with early discovery and preparation work.
• Providing expert guidance on Workday Benefits configuration, processes, and best practices.
• Assisting with requirements clarification, system analysis, and solution recommendations.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and Workday specialists during configuration and testing.
• Ensuring compliance with programme governance, including certification requirements.
• Managing documentation, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support activities as needed.
• Adjusting weekly hours in line with project phases - approximately 2 hours per week during Phase 0, rising to 4-6 hours per week from March through December 2026.

What we’re looking for:

• Workday Pro Benefits Services Certification (mandatory).
• Workday Implementer Certification (mandatory).
• Ability and willingness to transfer relevant certifications to the client (mandatory requirement).
• Proven experience supporting Workday Benefits implementations or enhancements.
• Strong understanding of Workday configuration, testing, and documentation practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results within flexible, part-time weekly hours.
