VO Designer

Do you have game audio design experience, and are you seeking a new job in Sweden? Our client is looking for a VO Designer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.  

As part of the Audio team, you will be managing all VO for our current project; with a focus on Cutscenes and Narrative content, reporting to the Audio Director. You will be working closely with our Audio Director, Creative Director and Writers to ensure that voice performances are aligned with the style and tone envisioned for the game. 

In your first week in this VO Designer role, you can expect to: 

• Carry out the Audio Cutscene pipeline from beginning to end, with both individual responsibility and in collaboration with others 
• Manage microphone setups and audio hardware for voice recordings during Motion-Capture sessions 
• Prepare recording scripts and planning for VO sessions, as well as facilitating tech-riders for outsourced recording sessions 
• Ensuring that the VO database is organised and up to date 
• Implement Cutscene VO content in-engine, ensuring that all vocal assets are of the highest quality and in sync with facial animations 

To apply for this VO Designer role, you will need 3+ years of experience in Game Audio as a VO Designer or Audio Designer with professional VO experience. Additional experience in linear media is very desirable, but not required. You will also require the following: 

• A degree in Audio Design or an Audio related field 
• A passion for storytelling and voice over in games, both from an audio and a performance standpoint 
• A deep understanding of managing VO pipelines 

• Excellent skills in communication and teamwork, with the ability to give and receive feedback as well as communicate concepts effectively.
