Vice President of Engineering in London

As Vice President of Engineering at this studio in London, you will be focusing on the delivery of software solutions across the studio’s VR platform, playing a key role in ensuring the product vision is realised. You will also be recruiting and onboarding new members of the team, so it is essential that you are passionate in your work and keen to make a difference.

Vice President of Engineering key responsibilities: 

  • Lead and inspire the engineering team 
  • Develop technical strategy alongside the CTO 
  • Look after a variety of engineering projects 
  • Strive for continuous improvement of engineering processes and documentation 
  • Recruit and onboard new members of the engineering team 

Essential requirements for this role in London: 

  • Significant prior experience leading an engineering team 
  • Experience with cloud platform providers such as AWS/Azure/GCP 
  • Experience developing real-time 3D products 
  • Understand the complete product lifecycle

Additionally, the Night Tube, a 24-hour service, is available on Fridays and Saturdays, making getting home after an evening exploring or catching up with friends a breeze. Aside from the Tube, London offers buses, river buses, black cabs, ‘Boris Bikes’ and trams, so getting around the city should never be a problem!
