Our client is looking for a talented and collaborative VFX Artist to join a thriving studio in Guildford. This full-time VFX role comes with a generous salary and benefits package, along with the chance to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.
Reporting to the art director and collaborating closely with our VFX Artist, you’ll work with the rest of the team to create and implement our game’s particle-based visual effects. In three months, you will be creating and implementing a wide range of particle-inspired visual effects, from tiny sparks, through swipes and impacts, to room-shaking explosions.
In your first few weeks in this VFX Artist role, you can expect to:
- Work with our team to create high-quality visual effects and game assets
- Get involved in discussions around the broader direction for the game
- Get to know our client’s game engine and internal creative tools, as well as bringing your own best practice and software recommendations
- Create and implement a wide range of particle-based visual effects, from tiny sparks, through swipes and impacts, to room-shaking explosions
To apply for this VFX role, you will need to have created the VFX for one or more games and be a central, supportive member of our small team. You will also require the following:
- Expertise in the development of our client’s VFX tools
- Experience in a similar role
