Do you have visual effects experience, and are you seeking a new remote job? Our Oregon-based client in the gaming industry is looking for a full-time VFX Artist, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package. 

The VFX Artist will work closely with the Art Lead to support various projects on their VFX art needs.  

In your first week in this VFX Artist role, you can expect to: 

  • Create stunning visual effects that support any given project in a timely manner 
  • Investigate and test optimal approaches for each platform that hit the highest quality within the given rule sets 
  • Understand what the Art Lead requires for the project then research, develop and implement it in engine 
  • Work across a variety of styles from cartoony to realistic. 

To apply for this VFX Artist role, you will need a degree or certification in both Art and Physics or equivalent work experience. You will also require the following: 

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Understanding of particle effects in engines as well as Maya and/or Max 
  • Unity experience.
