VFX Artist

Remote VFX Artist 

VFX Artist with experience in Unity? Are you skilled in creating impressive and interesting game effects? If this sounds like you, this role could be your perfect fit! 

As a VFX Artist at this studio, you will be working fully remotely, looking after all stages of development from idea generation, to sketches, to pre-planning for their industry leading console-level RPG project! Working closely with the VFX Lead, you will be creating and optimising effects to be implemented and used in the final game. 

This studio creates mobile and social experiences for their huge worldwide player base, with a hugely diverse portfolio of games under their belt, and big plans ahead, it’s a great time to join the team! 

VFX Artist key responsibilities: 

• Create visual effects in Unity engine 
• Work with the design team to ensure VFX enhance the gameplay experience 
• Develop strategies for maximising performance and optimising VFX 
• Seek out and provide feedback in the VFX department 

Essential requirements for this remote role: 

• Significant prior experience in a VFX role 
• Experience with Unity engine in the games industry 
• Experience of working with 3Ds Max 
• Strong understanding of the technical requirements of real-time development
