VFX Artist in Montreal

Are you a VFX artist with an affinity for making eye-catching particle systems? Do you love music and want to help shape a beautiful visual experience for music lovers worldwide?

You’ll be joining a studio that is creating the future of the music industry through unique immersive social experiences and virtual reality. It’s an exciting time to join a growing company and work with world renowned artists!

VFX Artist Responsibilities:

  • Take personal responsibility for producing a wide range of particle effects using Niagara
  • Carry out R&D to maximise the effectiveness of the VFX tools being used
  • Oversee the VFX pipeline and contribute as needed
  • Work with the technical specifications provided to create appropriate visual effects

Requirements for this role in Montreal:

  • 3 or more years of experience as a VFX using Real-Time
  • 2 or more years of professional experience using Unreal Engine 4
  • Experience with Cascade or similar to create particle effects and with softwares such as Nuke, Fume and Realflow with your particle systems
  • Background of work using Niagara
  • Experience optimising a range of particle systems, materials and logic
  • Good knowledge of the whole game development process
