US Payroll Lead (SAP)

A US Payroll Lead opportunity is available for a skilled SAP Payroll Configuration Consultant to join our client’s team on a remote contract basis. This role focuses on designing, documenting, and implementing SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or SAP HCM Payroll solutions, while providing expert-level functional and technical support for payroll configurations. The position supports a collaborative environment and offers the flexibility of remote work in nearshore locations such as LATAM, Manila, and Europe.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Deliver solution designs, documentation, and implementations for SAP Payroll systems (ECP or HCM Payroll).
• Configure payroll catalogs, including collective bargaining agreements and wage types.
• Manage off-cycle payroll processing, levy management, and garnishment reporting.
• Configure tax reporting systems and conduct comprehensive payroll testing.
• Integrate SAP Payroll solutions with third-party systems and BSI Tax Factory.
• Develop and manage custom operations, rules, and user exits.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient payroll solutions.

You Have:

• At least 5 years of experience configuring SAP Payroll solutions (EC Payroll or HCM Payroll).
• Strong knowledge of US Payroll and compliance reporting across multiple countries.
• Proven track record of delivering 4+ full lifecycle implementations in SAP Payroll.
• Experience with payroll catalog setup, off-cycle payroll, garnishment reporting, and tax reporter configuration.
• Hands-on expertise in integration with third-party systems and BSI Tax Factory.
• Self-motivated and independent, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and the Payroll Control Center (PCC).
• Familiarity with automation tools and process optimisation strategies.
