A little bit about the city: Guangzhou
Known as the hub of trading in and out of China and within China, this means the city is full of markets ranging from electronics to food. Although it is the capital of the south of China, Guangzhou is surprisingly cheap compared to the likes of Hong Kong and Shenzhen, making it easy to have a good quality of life for a reasonable price here. Getting around this city is seamless thanks to their city-bus (day, night and airport shuttles), metro system (made up of nine lines) and water bus, which operate up and down the Pearl River. In terms of their climate, Guangzhou is warm and humid throughout the year, with warm temperatures, rain and sunshine in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer. The good news if you’re relocating to Guangzhou is that expats are exempt from taxes, so you’ll make a very decent living here!
Years of experience and salary levels are shown purely as a guide. We will consider applications from candidates that can demonstrate the skills or experience required for the role.
Christina is our UI/UX specialist and once you start working with her, she will always fight your corner – literally! She’s done martial arts since she was tiny and has been National British Savate Kickboxing Champion… so definitely someone you want on your team, whether it’s for kickboxing or recruitment. When she’s not teaching kickboxing, she’s busy at home teaching her beautiful cat Bagheera to sit, paw and twirl – anyone who can teach a cat to do tricks is pretty skilled in our books!
