Unity Platform Engineer in London 

We’re looking for a talented Unity Platform Engineer to join a global studio and work on some iconic IP! Sound interesting? Keep reading to find out more and apply to this role today! 

As a Unity Platform Engineer at this studio in London, you will be supporting the development and debugging of code to support middleware within the games. If you have plenty of commercial experience in a similar role in the games industry then you could be the perfect fit. 

This studio creates mobile free-to-play games as well as console games. Having found huge success in the past with previous releases, they’re looking forward to what the future holds for them with the new creative titles they have in the works. Unity Platform Engineer responsibilities: 

  • Evaluate third-party middleware 
  • Create native solutions for the needs of projects 
  • Support advertising/monetisation functionality in products 
  • Support UA efforts 
  • Optimise games 
  • Support adherence to privacy laws 
  • Support integrated testing automation 
  • Handle requirements from vendors 

Key requirements for this role in London: 

  • Technical experience of Unity development and build tools 
  • Native android/iOS development experience 
  • Talented in debugging problems on multiple platforms 
  • Familiar with Git and Perforce 
  • University degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or similar 
  • Significant prior experience in C# programming, C or Java 
  • Significant experience in platform support or similar work

Aside from the Tube, London offers buses, river buses, black cabs, ‘Boris Bikes’ and trams, so getting around the city should never be a problem!
