We are looking for a full-time Unity Architect to join a creative and collaborative team in Canada. The role offers an excellent salary and benefits package alongside flexible and remote working.
The virtual reality (VR) game development studio you'll be working with is creating the next generation of online casino gaming. You will help the team define how they need to evolve their architecture to achieve their ambition of building Vegas in the metaverse.
As Unity Architect, you'll be working on everything from isolating components to manage scalability, rendering research, and networking architecture to something as ambitious as creating APIs for 3rd parties so they can contribute to the evolution of our world. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Architecting, developing, and implementing gameplay architecture to improve scalability
- Architecting, developing, and implementing APIs to structure the work between departments, outsourcers or 3rd party contributors
- Architecting, developing and maintaining the components library for the project team
- Documenting systems and procedures
Significant experience with the Unity game engine is required to apply. We are looking for a Unity Engineer with Fluency in programming languages (Python, C#, Java, and C++) who is comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous development environments. You will also need experience designing systems in modern AAA game projects.
