Skillsearch is helping a games studio find an experienced UI Engineer to join their team in Brighton and Hove. This is a full-time role, and it offers a salary of £40k and excellent benefits.
As a UI Engineer, you will work with Production, Animators and UX/UI Designers to build robust interfaces. You will bring wireframes and design documents to life through code and widget building.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Create rapid UX and UI prototypes
- Design, write, debug, and refine UI systems
- Assist in the design of UI functionality
- Implement UI design assets in-game.
To apply for this UI Engineer role, you will need 3+ years of games industry and programming experience. You will also require the following:
- Advanced C++/C# design and coding experience
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine and its UI Tools
- Proven experience working in a feature-led/pure agile environment
- Understanding of Network Game Client/Server architecture.
