UI Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced UI Design Engineer to join a passionate and dedicated team. As a UI Design Engineer, you will focus on creating and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for simulation platforms, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for end-users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your technical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of UI principles to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Use technical XAML skills to create complex new screens, features, and custom widgets and controls according to design specifications.
• Deliver consistency of visual styles across the user interface.
• Maintain technical standards and notice areas of potential optimization/improvement.
• Work closely and effectively with UI programmers, artists, and designers.
• Create prototypes to rapidly explore new ideas.
• Provide technical documentation to accompany implementations.
• Test, debug, profile, and optimize systems.

Requirements:

• Expert in XAML.
• Passion for playing and making video games, with a strong self-driven work ethic.
• Experience working with proprietary game or simulation engines.
• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent training or relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the native Noesis SDK and the Noesis GUI framework.
• C++ programming skills.
• Experience building UI for VR and other aspect ratios.
• Knowledge of real-world and/or sim racing.
