UI Artist in Quebec

As a UI Artist at this studio in Quebec, you will be working alongside the Design Services Director, Art Director and Game Designer, taking on responsibility for graphic assets for game titles. Your role will involve adapting the assets to different modules, validating your own work, and ensuring consistency between concepts, prototypes, and the final product. 

This studio offers the full range of digital services, helping brands in a huge range of areas from websites, social media, and apps, to AR/VR, trailers, and console games. If you like the sound of working on projects for some of the largest brands in the world, this is the perfect studio for you to join. 

UI Artist key responsibilities: 

  • Analyse project requests and finalise specifications to deadlines 
  • Design game UI mock-ups 
  • Prepare graphical standard guides for projects 
  • Self-validate work 
  • Identify potential risks 
  • Give updates to superiors on tasks 
  • Stay up to date on latest trends and best practices 

Essential requirements for this role in Quebec: 

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design or similar 
  • Excellent illustration skills 
  • Able to integrate mock-ups in Unity engine 
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) 
  • Skilled in media optimisation principles 
  • Knowledge of UX principles 
  • Understanding of illustration fundamentals 
  • Skilled in French (spoken & written)
