Remote UI Artist

Are you a talented UI Artist looking for a new contract opportunity for the new year? Do you like the sound of working on a game that’s set to be a worldwide hit? If you like the sound of this role, keep reading for details of this opportunity!

As a UI Artist at this BAFTA award-winning studio you will be working fully remotely on a four-month contract. Working closely with the Art Lead and the rest of the team, you’ll be bringing game concepts to life through the creation of stunning and easy-to-use UI assets in Unity engine.

UI Artist key responsibilities:

  • Graphic design of UI components
  • Work with design and development teams to outline functional and graphical requirements of UI
  • Set the style and tone for UI alongside the art lead
  • Create stunning UI to build on the project’s visual style
  • Translate design documents into wireframes with great UI flow
  • Create UI elements from idea conception to polished assets for games
  • Design UI that performs excellently across a range of platforms and devices
  • Animate UI elements in Unity

Essential requirements for this remote role:

  • In depth understanding of level design and game design
  • Experience with physics and sandbox gameplay
  • Skilled in telling stories through gameplay
  • Aware of past, current, and future level design trends
  • Have worked on multiplayer games
  • Strong track record of designing for released PC/console games
