UE4 Level/Mission Designer – 12911

Are you a designer who lives, breathes, and sleeps video games? Are you experienced in using UE4 and want to put your skills to use creating missions for action games? Read on for the details of the role…

As a Level/Mission Designer you will have the option to work fully remote within Europe, so will need to be comfortable working remotely. You will be taking storylines and turning them into playable, high-quality, and entertaining games for our audience.

Requirements

  • In depth understanding of mission creation in FPS/TPS/Action games
  • Experience working with UE4 on a commercially shipped game
  • Skilled in mission design, understanding of all the components that go into putting together enjoyable player experiences
  • Able to work well with the other level designers and the narrative design team to work through the storyline and give/receive feedback

Responsibilities

  • Taking the storyline overview and turning it into a fully playable and enjoyable mission using UE4
  • Liaising with multiple disciplines at any one time as you look to deliver the mission in good time to a high quality
  • You will also be creating white box environments and acting as the driving force taking it through to completion
  • Engaging in discussions daily, surrounding designs and gaming, the industry, news, and trends
