Are you an experienced Tools Programmer with a passion for building efficient, high-performance workflows that power great games?

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new, console-focused realistic racing title, where you’ll be responsible for developing tools and pipelines that streamline the import and export of complex game data and assets.

What you'll be doing:

  • Creating tools to convert and import track and geometry data efficiently for in-game use.
  • Maintaining and updating the world editor to support feature placement and data import/export workflows.
  • Collaborating with gameplay, audio, and UI teams to understand their requirements and provide effective tool support.
  • Designing, testing, debugging, and optimising toolchain code to improve performance and reliability.
  • Contributing to and supporting the technical roadmap for future titles, ensuring long-term scalability and usability of development tools.

What we're looking for:

  • High proficiency in C++ with strong coding, debugging, and optimisation skills.
  • Deep understanding of mesh data formats, 3D geometry, and related workflows.
  • Solid foundation in linear algebra, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Proficiency in manipulating image and texture formats programmatically.
  • Familiarity with Python for scripting and tool integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with standard game development tools such as Visual Studio, JIRA, and Git.
