Remote Technical Lead
Are you a skilled Web Developer looking for a new challenge at a unique studio? Do you like the sound of working on immersive XR experiences to change the way we consume media?! If so, read on for details of this exciting opportunity.
As the Technical Lead at this London-based studio, you will be taking on a short-term contract, initially a month long, but with the possibility to extend to three months. Your role will involve taking ownership of the product development, and working closely with game technology experts to bring the project vision to life. The ideal candidate will have experience in React and video softwares.
This studio uses the latest VR and AR technology to deliver incredible unique experiences to a huge range of clients, changing the way consumers experience marketing, games, healthcare and more, across the world.
Technical Lead key responsibilities:
- Drive system architecture and choose technologies to serve client needs
- Work with client IT teams to assess product requirements
- Implement core features and manage technical teams
- Manage web applications
- Ensure development practices and build processes
- Build code
- Ensure assets are optimal for web
Requirements for this remote role:
- Significant prior web development experience
- Skilled in HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Knowledge of Javascript frameworks
- Understanding of AJAX
- Experience with WebRTC and video technologies
- Experience of implementing user log-in systems and CMS
- Experience with WebSockets
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
