Technical Lead - Multimedia Engineering

We are seeking a Technical Lead accountable for the implementation and maintenance of mixed-media entertainment assets within the Mukaab building's immersive visitor experience. This role involves collaborating with design and technology teams to integrate multimedia elements across various settings, including audio, video, and interactive components.

Key Accountabilities & Activities:

• Develop and integrate multimedia elements into the venue's large immersive visitor experience.
• Oversee the creation and execution of detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Ensure the seamless operation of in-game elements with the venue’s media layers, including AR & VR elements.
• Implement and optimize AV assets to create immersive and high-quality experiences in real-time environments.
• Develop dynamic visuals, animations, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and engagement.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop elements that respond to user input.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools, software, and technologies to enhance multimedia capabilities.

Background, Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Engineering, Computer Science, Experience Design, Game Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Multimedia Engineer, particularly in live events and gaming-oriented projects that include AR & VR.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful multimedia integration.
• Extensive project management experience, overseeing complex, multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in fostering collaborative and innovative team environments.
• Proficiency in multimedia software and tools, such as audio and video editing software, visual effects tools, and game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Basic programming skills in C++ or Python, with the ability to script and integrate multimedia elements within game engines.
