Our client in the gaming sector is looking for an experienced, full-time, remote-working Technical Director, and the role offers a salary of up to £90,000 and a benefits package. This role is available for remote work in the UK, Spain or Canada. Or via an umbrella company in Poland, Netherlands, Hungary and Ireland.
As a Technical Director, you will architect, design and implement functionality for AAA external clients.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Deliver projects within your unit/client base
- Support the CTO as required on technical discussions with prospective clients
- Lead a team of engineers and provide support/input to the People Team on HR initiatives
- Solve problems through the application of sound software engineering principles.
To apply, you will need to be an experienced Technical Director or Lead Engineer with at least five shipped games. You will also require:
- Professional experience in the architecture of multiplayer game development
- Experience leading a small team on a number of shipped games
- Excellent C++ programming skills
- Experience with consoles like PS4/PS5 and XboxOne/SeriesX (desirable).
