A gaming company in Canada is looking for a creative and highly motivated Technical Artist to join the team on a remote-working basis. The full-time role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

Please note this role is remote within Canada only.

You will build cutting-edge online multiplayer casino games across multiple platforms (Desktop VR, Mobile VR, Console VR). You will deliver visually impressive moments that positively influence gameplay and enhance the player experience. 

In your first weeks in this role, you will be addressing these areas: 

  • Collaborating with the core team to understand the overall workflow and pipeline 
  • Partnering with the engineering team to develop new, or improve upon existing technologies for pushing the bar of graphics in the game, both visually and technically 
  • Learning and supporting varying client working environments, assets, and tools 
  • Adapting to feedback received from the community after live launch (in some cases), balancing expectations with limitations. 

To apply, you will need several years of experience as a professional technical artist in the gaming industry. You will also require: 

  • At least 1 shipped AAA title as a technical artist 
  • Proficiency in standard art packages such as Maya, 3DSmax and Photoshop 
  • Excellent knowledge of Python and experience developing python tools for 3DSMax or Maya 
  • Experience working with a game engine and implementing 3D work in engine.
