Do you have graphic design experience, and are you seeking a new UK-based remote role? Our client is looking for a Technical Artist, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.  

As a Technical Artist, you will have the ability to work with clients, artists and programmers to create innovative and inspiring gaming visuals that set new benchmarks. You will be working on one of our exciting new projects – a AAA IP in the strategy genre. 

In your first few weeks in this Technical Artist role, you can expect to: 

  • Work with a team of programmers and artists to support the implementation of fresh and innovative visuals for games 
  • Monitor and manage the project pipelines to ensure budgets and requirements are met 
  • Assist with game optimisation and framerates 
  • Create scripts and tools in Maya or other to help artists with Python, Mel etc 
  • Help bridge Art and Code departments with tools and workflows 

To apply for this Technical Artist role, you will need several years of experience as a Technical Artist working on gaming titles. You will also require the following: 

  • 2 years plus experience of industry-standard software packages such as Maya, 3DSMax, Photoshop, Unity 
  • Experience in the Unreal engine 
  • Passionate about making games visuals and supporting our approach to emerging technologies and industry developments 
  • To be ambitious and motivated
