Do you have technical content development pipeline experience, and are seeking a new remote role? Our client is looking for a Technical Art Engineer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.  

As a Technical Art Developer, you will guide the team in exploring industry best practices and collaborate across Engineering, Design and Art to help bring our characters to life in a scalable way and optimise the game assets. 

In your first few weeks in this Technical Art role, you can expect to: 

  • Create and maintain an efficient technical content development pipeline for 3D Character Rigging and animation-based tools 
  • Work closely with the character/skin team for custom skins and personalisation 
  • Identify opportunities around optimization and implementation around animation, VFX and SFX 
  • Balance the artistic direction with gameplay clarity needs 
  • Find creative ways to deliver within the vision while staying within the performance limits 

To apply for this Technical Art role, you will need at least 3 years of professional experience as a technical artist in games. You will also require the following: 

  • Familiarity with technical art development pipeline and best practices 
  • Experience working in Maya and other standard creation tools 
  • Working in Unreal, or other game engine tools and plugins 
  • Experience coding with at least one language - Blueprints, Python or similar programming languages used in games
