Technical Animator in Barcelona

As a Technical Animator at this studio in Barcelona, you will be designing and maintaining animation systems pipelines and animation team workflows. Working alongside Art Directors and team leads, you will also be responsible for proposing, researching and creating impressive animation solutions for a range of projects.

Technical Animator key responsibilities: 

• Design and maintain rigs and animation systems with animators, technical artists, and programmers 
• Provide technical support 
• Assist in integration of animation assets into the game engine 
• Design animation features within gameplay constraints 
• Research knowledge of animation tools, pipelines, and workflows 
• Mentor the animation team 

Essential requirements for this role in Barcelona: 

• Extensive prior experience in the games industry in a similar position 
• Strong knowledge of rigging and skinning processes 
• Knowledge of animation logic 
• Understanding of video game animation principles 
• Knowledge of real-time techniques and methodologies used on game art creation
