Studio Technical Director in Nottingham

As the Technical Director at this Nottingham-based studio, you will be working on some exciting new game projects while developing the future of the studio. You will be using the latest technology to deliver unique player experiences and uphold their impressive reputation.

Studio Technical Director key responsibilities: 

  • Develop studio strategy and development practices 
  • Establish best practices and development methodologies across the studio and projects 
  • Work with Technical Directors at other studio locations to align technical practice 
  • Provide technical support when required 
  • Guide team members to progress in their careers 

Key requirements for this role in Nottingham: 

  • Extensive knowledge of C++ 
  • Proven experience with commercial leadership in the games industry as a Technical Director or Senior/Lead on a AAA project 
  • Experience of working on console or PC games 
  • Strong understanding of software development practices
