Skillsearch is helping a games studio hire a collaborative and inclusive social media and Community Manager to join their welcoming team in Brighton. This is a full-time role that comes with a favourable salary and benefits package.  

You will actively reach out to online groups and key influencers to help promote the studio's games and recruit new players. 

To give you an idea of how this Community Marketing Manager role will look and feel, these are some things you can expect to do: 

  • Develop the community management strategy for the studio's games 
  • Organise playtests and encourage participation 
  • Source and manage creative and marketing agencies to boost growth 
  • Monitor, report and drive key community engagement performance metrics. 

To apply for this community marketing role, you will need significant experience in community management for video games, ideally 2-3 years of experience at a reputable Games Developer or Publisher. You will also require the following: 

  • A track record in building impactful social media campaigns 
  • Passion for games 
  • Detail-orientated approach with the ability to adapt to change 
  • Ideally, a relevant degree or equivalent level qualification but experience wins.
