As an SRE, you will be a member of a dynamic team to operate and maintain mission-critical applications of the customer. You will work with the newest, state of art cloud native technologies both in the cloud and on-prem. You'll also deploy products and automate deployments and monitor systems and implement instrumentation for better observability, ML, and other techniques to predict and avoid anomalies.
In your first week in this Site Reliability Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Deploy products and automate deployments
- Monitor systems, and implement instrumentation for better observability, ML, and other techniques to predict and avoid anomalies
- Detect, identify, and analyse faults if they arise, help to fix and work on solutions to avoid further occurrence
- Constantly improve service availability, scalability, performance, monitoring and overall manageability.
To apply for this SRE role, you will need a relevant degree or equivalent work experience in computer science or a related field. You will also require a minimum of three years of relevant experience to perform the advertised tasks. In addition, you should have the following:
- A good understanding and experience in SRE/Operations principles and frameworks, DevOps and DevSecOps principles, and a good grasp of security principles
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS, OpenStack), Linux system administration (RedHat), and good understanding of networking protocols
- Experience in automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Git (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins)
- Experience in scripting.
