We’re working with a top studio to find a full-time Senior/Lead Character Artist to work on a new AAA adventure game. This is a full-time, remote position and the role comes with a generous salary and an attractive benefits package.

As a flexible Lead Character Artist, you will work with the studio Art Director and Game Director to design and create cinematic-quality characters.

In this Senior Character Artist role, you can expect to:

  • Train, mentor and lead a team of concept and character artists
  • Create the highest level of character assets for an upcoming console title
  • Work quickly and efficiently while adhering to the established art direction
  • Maintain a balance of realism and stylization throughout the creation process.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience and be fully versed in low and high poly modeling, normal mapping and texturing, and must provide a portfolio link with the application. You will also need:

  • Experience leading a diverse team of artists
  • Ability to critically assess the work of others and communicate clearly what’s needed to improve the work
  • Fluency in Maya and Z-Brush
  • Proven ability to create believable characters that radiate life and personality.
