Skillsearch is working to identify and place a skilled and experienced Senior Web Tools Engineer for a games studio. This is a remote role, and it comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
As a Senior Web Tools Engineer, you will be responsible for helping shape and drive web tooling integration alongside existing tools and pipeline and be a key force in developing future products. You will also gain a solid understanding of the tools and pipelines in use on both our live and remote titles.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Web Tools Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Design, implement, test, and maintain a new asset and release from source to live environment
- Generate tasks to meet agreed goals and create documentation detailing code design approach and implementation
- Develop and propagate a ‘DevOps’ approach to the tools pipeline
- Enhance and help maintain the existing game engine tooling and pipeline.
To apply for this Senior Web Tools Engineer role, you will need experience developing public-facing tools, ideally using web technologies. You will also require the following:
- A full-stack mindset
- Experience working in front-end and backend technologies
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs
- Experience and familiarity with Docker and cloud hosting/deployment technologies.
