As a Senior Visual Programmer, you will contribute to the full development process of each feature, from the initial concept, through to design, implementation, testing and bug fixing. You will also collaborate with the QA and publishing teams to help deliver the final product.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Visual Programmer role, you can expect to:
- Contribute to the full development process of each feature, from initial concept, through to design, implementation, testing and bug fixing
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code by following industry standard best practices
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
- Collaborate closely with QA and publishing teams to help deliver the final product
To apply for this Senior Visual Programmer role, you will need excellent up-to-date knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or 5, including proficiency with C++ code and UE Visual Scripting Blueprints. You will also require the following:
- Ability to break down and develop game features and subsystems
- Ability to research evolving game standards
- Experience with 3D geometry and mathematical concepts
- Experience writing shader code
- Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git and Perforce
