Are you an experienced VFX artist ready for a senior role? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Senior VFX Artist in Guildford, you will be creating wonderous and exciting effects that will propel stories and characters to new heights. You will ne pushing forward the boundaries of what is possible on next gen platforms and high-end PC GPUs!

This BAFTA-winning studio has a glowing reputation for innovation in the storytelling and VR genres, with a number of critically acclaimed successful titles behind them, and some new projects in the works, it’s a great time to join the team! 

Requirements

• VFX experience within commercial games development or a relevant field such as TV or Film production
• A strong portfolio of work which demonstrates the ability to create visually impressive VFX
• An understanding of physical behaviours and motions within the creation of VFX and a strong sense of timing
• Experience using Unreal Engine for the creation of effects and experience with Maya
• Industry standard understanding of Unity, CryENGINE, and Houdini as well as an understanding of Photoshop and After Effects as previsualisation tools

Responsibilities

• Engaging in the creative process of designing and creating innovative and high quality VFX
• Implementing VFX within Unreal
• Collaborating with the other disciplines such as lighting and environment artist
