Senior UX Designer in London 

Talented UX Designer with an impressive portfolio? Like the sound of joining a flourishing studio and working on a range of projects? If so, we have the role for you! 

As a Senior UX Designer at this studio in London, you will initially be working fully remotely, with the view to move to working onsite in London once it is safe to do so. Within the role, you will be responsible for championing UX at all stages of project development to ensure games are player friendly to a high standard. 

This studio creates mobile free-to-play games as well as console games. Having found huge success in the past with previous releases, they’re looking forward to what the future holds for them with the new creative titles they have in the works. Senior UX Designer responsibilities: 

  • Create mock-ups and turn them into prototypes 
  • Translate game system requirements into seamless experiences 
  • Understand the player journey and provide solutions through data 
  • Advocate for UX at each stage of development 
  • Respond to player feedback 

Essential requirements for this role in London: 

  • Portfolio of previous UX work 
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles 
  • Proficient in wireframing 
  • Experience in UX design in the games industry (ideally mobile and F2P) 
  • Skilled in interactive prototyping software and Adobe packages 
  • Understanding of mobile game trends

Aside from the Tube, London offers buses, river buses, black cabs, ‘Boris Bikes’ and trams, so getting around the city should never be a problem!

Giles runs our Gaming & Interactive division and specialises in forming tight knit teams, whether that’s for a studio or in our office. He represented his county at rugby for every age group from 12 onwards which no doubt helped him to cultivate his excellent understanding of team dynamics.
