The Role – Senior Unreal Engine Programmer

As a Senior Unreal Engine Programmer, you will play a key role in designing scalable software architecture, developing engaging gameplay mechanics, and optimising tools and pipelines to enhance team productivity. Working across multiple platforms, you will ensure smooth performance and innovation at every stage of development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable architecture solutions for Unreal projects.
• Develop and integrate gameplay features in collaboration with designers and artists.
• Create and maintain tools and pipelines to improve efficiency across teams.
• Optimise and debug code to ensure stability and high performance.
• Manage cross-platform compatibility and porting tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Unreal Engine technologies and trends.

What You’ll Need

• 10+ years of experience in game programming, with at least 7 years using Unreal Engine.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Blueprints, with a solid understanding of software architecture and gameplay.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Willingness to work across multiple domains, including architecture, gameplay, and tools.
• Experience with version control systems such as Perforce.
• Cross-platform development and porting experience (highly desirable).
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages (a plus).
• Familiarity with C# and Unity (an asset).
