As a Senior Programmer, you will work on all aspects of game code and engineering tasks in a team of programmers, along with the support of other disciplines. You will also work on the initial and continued development of a free-to-play title on console, mobile and PC.
In your first week in this game developer role, you can expect to:
- Implement well-designed, structured game code in C#
- Help drive development and take ownership of a variety of systems, such as gameplay, graphics, networking and UI
- Partake in regular design and code reviews
- Create simple solutions to complex problems
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to all phases of the development cycle
To apply for this game development role, you will need 3+ years of professional experience in game development with a number of shipped titles. You will also require the following:
- Professional development experience of C/C++/C# languages and frameworks
- The ability to quickly get up to speed with existing code bases
- The ability to design a plan code from scratch on a new title
- Experience with user-generated content and data-driven systems
