Remote Senior Unity Developer

As a Senior Unity Developer at this studio in LA, you will be working fully remotely developing innovative immersive technology in Unity engine, creating new features and taking them from idea conception through to deployment. The role will also involve acting in a leadership position, meaning that you will be mentoring junior members of the development team to help in their career development.
This studio creates virtual XR experiences for high profile clients in live entertainment, gaming, and retail, allowing people to meet up in shared 3D spaces. Senior Unity Developer responsibilities:
- Engineer innovative technology integrated into Unity engine
- Develop new features from concept through to deployment
- Write clean, testable code
- Own the Unity code base and conduct code reviews
- Drive improvements to coding practices
- Refine product features and requirements
- Mentor and guide junior team members
Key requirements for this remote role:
- University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
- Commercial video game development experience
- Significant professional experience developing Unity3D applications
- Have worked on two or more shipped games or software
- Expert knowledge and experience of C#
- Mastery of Unity, C#, and 3D application development
- Experience developing online multiplayer apps
- Experience with Avatar systems and player/character controller
- Experience delivering commercial Unity applications
