Senior Unity Developer

A Senior Unity Developer opportunity is available for an experienced professional to join our client’s team in Auckland, New Zealand, on a permanent basis. This role involves working on exciting game titles in a collaborative and dynamic studio environment, contributing to the creation of robust, flexible, and high-quality gameplay systems.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers and artists to produce robust, flexible, and extendable gameplay systems.
• Work across multiple systems, including networking, graphics, sound, UI, animation, and economy.
• Contribute to the technical and creative direction of game development, balancing design and technical choices.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts for the best player experience.

You Have:

• At least 5 years of industry experience in the mobile sector, with 2+ shipped titles.
• Extensive and demonstrable Unity experience.
• Practical experience across multiple systems (e.g., networking, graphics, sound, UI, animation, economy).
• A positive and enthusiastic work attitude, integrating well into a fun and dynamic team.
• Strong understanding of balancing technical and design decisions, with a collaborative approach to resolving conflicts.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to get the best from team members.
