As a UI Programmer, you will be implementing and maintaining user interface features in one or more of our AAA titles. This may involve working with our proprietary Red Engine or in Unreal Engine 5. You will cooperate with artists, designers and with other programmers to create solutions that satisfy the technical and aesthetic needs of the video games we produce.
In your first few weeks in this Senior UI Programmer role, you can expect to:
- Take part in the design and implementation of user interfaces
- Perform maintenance and optimisation of existing systems
- Create new features for the user interface framework
- Implement tools for UI artists and designers
- Track and fix bugs in the game user interface and user interface frameworks
To apply for this Senior UI Programmer role, you will need excellent knowledge of C++ coding principles and practice with at least 4 years of professional experience. You will also require the following:
- Knowledge of user interface design patterns
- Proficiency in algorithms and code architecture
- Debugging and optimization skills
- Understanding player needs in terms of the user interface of modern video games
- Excellent communication skills
