Senior UI Artist in Dundee

We’re looking for a Senior UI Artist with a great portfolio to join this large independent studio based in Dundee. If you have a keen eye for design and a passion to create seamless player experiences, this could be the perfect role for you.

The award-winning studio are looking for a talented individual to join their team and help in creating their newest games to impress and excite their players. As a Senior UI Artist, you’ll be responsible for creating polished and flowing user interface designs, as well as mentoring junior members of the team to push towards optimal quality in what you produce. As a part of the team, you’ll be able to enjoy some amazing perks, including an incredible relocation package to help you settle into Scotland with ease if you’d be moving from outside of the UK for this role.

Senior UI Artist Key Responsibilities:

  • Create entertaining and polished UI/UX layouts
  • Work alongside art, design and coding teams
  • See designs through from idea to completion and implementation
  • Help define consistency of existing art style
  • Guide and mentor more junior members of UI team
  • Create templates to enable ease of content updates
  • Exchange feedback with other team members and use this to improve

Essential requirements for this role in Dundee:

  • Excellent portfolio showcasing UI/UX skills
  • Experience developing UI for mobile games
  • Eye for design and skilled in graphic design and composition
  • Experienced in Unity and Adobe software
  • Able to interpret ideas and transform them into beautiful visuals
  • Knowledge and experience of Adobe XD/Adobe After Effects would be beneficial, but is not essential
