Senior UI Artist in Sheffield

This Sheffield-based studio are looking for a talented UI Artist with a solid background in AAA production and excellent Photoshop skills to take on a senior position designing user interfaces and game assets for their upcoming titles.

Senior UI Artist responsibilities:

  • Design and implement User Interfaces
  • Maintain game assets to use in User Interfaces (textures, fonts, icons)
  • Establish UI direction by creating and revising UI concepts
  • Ensure information is communicated clearly to players

Key requirement for this role in Sheffield:

  • 5+ years’ experience in AAA games production
  • Expert in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience taking user interfaces from idea conception to implementation
  • Strong understanding of UX design for PC and console games
  • Good After Effects abilities

The following would be a bonus but are not essential for the role:

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 4
  • Animation experience
  • Competent in Maya/Max/similar
