As a Senior Developer at this studio in London, you will be working in either C++ or Blueprint in Unreal Engine 4 and collaborating with other disciplines to create engaging and unique gameplay experiences. It is essential that you are comfortable with both gameplay and backend and that you are extremely passionate about gaming and VR.

Senior UE4 Developer responsibilities:
- Implement multiplayer functionality and interactions as well as other gameplay mechanics in Unreal Engine 4
- Create new features using C++ or Blueprint
- Conceptualise and communicate new features to prioritise player experience
- Implement effects for multi-sensory experiences such as heat, wind, scent, and rumble
- Mitigate risk and solve problems before they arise
- Write documentation for all gameplay systems
- Run tests to ensure builds are playable at all times
- Grow professionally and help others in the team do the same
Essential requirements for this role in London:
- University degree (or equivalent) in Programming, Computer Science, or Game Development
- Significant professional game development experience
- Fluent in C++, Blueprints, Unreal Engine 4
- Experience with real-time RPGs or FPSs
- Familiar with concepts of VR gameplay
- Passion for games and VR
