Senior UA Manager

Are you an experienced Senior User Acquisition Manager with deep expertise in mobile strategy games, data‑driven marketing and scalable growth systems?

Join a global game studio operating across mobile games, ad‑tech and emerging technologies, where you’ll lead investment‑driven UA strategies for high‑growth titles. This role is focused on scaling strategy‑led UA for SLG games, combining performance marketing with long‑term monetisation modelling and experimentation frameworks.

About the role

You will lead user acquisition strategy across mobile titles, with a primary focus on a live strategy game currently in its scale‑up phase. This is a senior, high‑ownership role where you will design and operate UA as an investment system, using LTV and payback models to guide decision‑making. You’ll go beyond campaign management, contributing to broader product, market and growth strategy.

What you’ll do

• Design and execute UA strategies based on LTV, RPD and long‑term payback models
• Lead full experimentation cycles from hypothesis to testing, analysis and global scale‑up
• Optimise campaigns using advanced techniques including postback optimisation and platform algorithms
• Analyse performance data to identify scalable growth opportunities across regions and audiences
• Collaborate with product teams to inform game design, server strategy and cohort performance
• Build and refine internal knowledge systems for UA learnings and best practices
• Guide country mix, channel strategy and creative direction for optimal scaling
• Work closely with creative and analytics teams to align performance and content

What we’re looking for

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in mobile game user acquisition or performance marketing
• Proven track record working on strategy (SLG) mobile games
• Experience scaling UA campaigns globally with measurable profitability
• Experience working with or on titles from major strategy game publishers (preferred)

Skills

• Strong understanding of LTV modelling, payback curves and investment‑based UA strategies
• Advanced knowledge of mobile advertising platforms and algorithm‑driven optimisation
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex performance data
• Experience designing and executing structured experimentation frameworks
• Ability to connect marketing performance with product and gameplay outcomes
• Strong communication skills across marketing, product and leadership teams

Nice to have

• Experience working on or analysing high‑performing SLG titles
• Background in postback optimisation and advanced attribution models
• Experience contributing to game strategy beyond marketing (e.g. server strategy, regional planning)
• Familiarity with Chinese mobile game publishing ecosystems
